When you have your car scrapped always be sure to request a licence number and check it with the environment agency to ensure that you are using a legitimate company. Our licence number is EAWML-71450. Waste tyres carelessly tipped are causing a major environment problem - using the right people helps to eliminate this problem.
E.A.C.R removes scrap vehicles everyday and we ensure that it is done in an environmentally friendly way. You are welcome to enquire about the amount of work that is required to scrap each vehicle ready for processing.
We can collect your vehicle during the day or, if necessary out of hours. Our drivers are friendly, helpful and fully equipped with purpose-built recovery vehicles.
All we need to scrap your car is your logbook, of which you keep section 9 and the keys. We will advise you to send off section 9 to the DVLA and after your car has been scrapped, the remainder of the logbook is sent off to the DVLA and they will notify you in approximately 4 to 6 weeks that the car has been disposed of.
If you do not have your logbook or key, it will not be a problem, please mention this when we contact you and we will inform you of the correct procedure.
